Devotional standards

What people don’t understand about standards is this…

If your standards are coming from a shallow devotion or a false imprint on your psyche about what you want, it will be A LOT HARDER to follow through on your commitments connected to the new standard.

You know when you start a project, a habit, a new practice and then it just falls away?

It’s because your devotion ain’t deep baby.

Holding your standards means holding YOURSELF to a higher standard in everything- not just being entitled and expecting everything to get better because you hold a standard in your mind!!!

It’s a mind, body, s*✖️, energy, soul kind of thing…

To say-

- This is what I want
- This is my new standard to bring it in
- And here are ALL the ways I’ll be holding myself accountable to the new norm

What I see often is women saying they’re holding higher standards-

Like… “Now that my partner and I broke up, I’m holding way higher standards for men!”

That’s great. I applaud you.

But standards are meant for YOURSELF.

Because life will life.

If you have higher standards for your own behavior, actions, thoughts, etc… then we’re talking!!!

Or they’ll say…

“I’m now holding a higher standard of client in my business” (woopdeedoo!)

But again- if you just say that without shifting your behavior, energetics, leadership, and body to match…

Then you’ll probably find yourself in the same loop, same story again down the road, it won’t work, or you’ll give up.

Standards are for how YOU think, play, and behave.

This my dear, is game changer
